Air Fryer Chicken tenders with Honey Mustard sauce is an incredibly easy way to make the most crispy and crunchy homemade chicken fingers. Your air fryer does all the hard work. Buttermilk soaked chicken with an everything bagel seasoning coating, you can’t go wrong!

Boneless skinless chicken breasts are easily transformed into the most delicious Air Fryer Chicken Tenders with an easy to make honey mustard dipping sauce!

A simple egg wash and flavorful coating quickly cook into crispy tender pieces of chicken that are so much easier and less oily than frying

Ingredients :

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts- cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg- beaten
  • 1 teaspoon oil- for spraying
  • Honey mustard dipping sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar

Air fryer chicken tenders Instructions

Combine the breadcrumbs, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.

Cut the chicken into strips. Sprinkle with the 1 teaspoon of salt.

Beat the egg in a bowl. Dip the chicken tenders in the egg then into the crumbs.

Place the chicken tenders on the air fryer basket. Spray them with the 1 teaspoon oil.

Bake at 180c for 10 minutes. Flip the tenders and spray with oil again. Bake for a further 5 minutes.

For the sauce: Combine all the ingredients together and serve.
