This simple lamb recipe will show you how to cook a pot roast leg of lamb. I love eating lamb, and this recipe will give you lamb that falls off the bone after cooking, a little bit like Turkish lamb tandir.

Ingredients :

  • 2kg Lamb Cubes or Neck or Knuckles
  • 2 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Smokey BBQ & Honey Sprinkle
  • 1 Heaped Tbsp Dried Coriander
  • 750ml Water
  • 1 Large Onion Finely Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Finely Chopped
  • 2 Rosemary Stems
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Onion
  • 200 Water

Simple Lamb Recipe Directions :

On low heat on a covered pot cook lamb for 15 minutes or till it releases it’s own juices.

Then season with paprika, dried coriander and spice.
Stir till combined then add onion, garlic & Rosemary.

Stir then up the heat to medium/high (5/6).
Stir then add 750ml water.

Cook till water is dissolved (+- 1 hour) turning occasionally.

Mix 200ml water with brown onion soup then simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir then serve with rice or mashed vegetables.
